Gale Marie Uhlig only child of William and Martha Poff born in St. Louis, MO, January 23, 1936. She was baptized March 13, 1936 at Zion Lutheran Church in St. Louis and confirmed in her faith April of 1949.
She met her husband Daniel Uhlig at Holy Cross Walther League while he was attending Cleveland High School and she was attending Roosevelt High School. Four years later, September 22, 1956 they were married. They enjoyed 63 years of marriage and were blessed with three children Donna (Dan), Carl (Barb) and the late Diane (survived Skip). They continued to be blessed with five grandchildren Matt (Megan), Danny (Jenny), Joey (Katie), MaryKate and Kelly and six great grandchildren Quinn, Connor, Claire, Caroline, Ryan and Sabrina.
Gale was a loving and devoted wife and mother and a conscientious and a steadfast Christian. She peacefully departed this life Saturday, October 17, 2026. She achieved the age of 90 years old.
Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road Wednesday, October 21, 2026, 4:30-8pm. Then to Peace Lutheran Church 737 Barracksview Road St. Louis, MO 63125 Thursday, October 22, visitation 10am until service at 11am. Interment Lakewood Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Peace Lutheran Church or de Greeff Hospice House, appreciated.
