Ulrich-Meister, Adeline Mary

Adeline Mary Ulrich Meister (nee Rolando), age 97, died peacefully in her home in St. Louis County, Missouri, on November 9, 2021. She was born March 23, 1924 in Eagerville, Illinois to John Pacchiola and Albena Mary (Dalzotto) Rolando. She was a 1941 graduate of Benld Township High School and went on to graduate from St. Louis Business School. She worked as an accountant for Crown Cork and Seal Company in St. Louis, Missouri, where she met her beloved husband Clarence.

Clarence and Adeline married on December 3, 1943 and resided in the St. Louis area. Later they moved to Dupo, Illinois where they raised their only child, Lynette, and resided there until Clarence’s death on November 2, 1973. On January 17, 1979 Adeline married William John Meister who died October 5, 1995.

Adeline was a member of The Crosspoint Church in St. Louis County. She loved God and attending Bible Studies with friends. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, never missing seeing or listening to the Cards play. Anyone who knew Adeline knew she loved Twinkies, M&M’s and flowers!
Above all else, Adeline dearly loved her family and close friends, and loved spending time with them. Her favorite thing to do was spoil her daughet, son in love, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved cooking big family style meals for them.

Adeline is survived by her daughter, Lynette (Greg) Kassing of St. Louis County, four grandchildren, Cynthia (Eric) Judd, Gina (Robbie) Houston, Chirstopher (Heather) Kassing and Stephanie Kassing. She was also survived by great grandchildren Macy Judd, Cayden Judd, Gideon Houston, Coen Houston, Solomon Houston, Zion Houston, Sarah (Steve) Yates, Abigail Kassing, Stephen Kassing, Andrew Kassing, Aben Kassing, Anna Kassing, Julia Kassing, dear friends, the Verrets, and Marilyn Danna, many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her dear pet, Annie, who was her faithful companion.
Adeline is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Clarence Harold Henry Ulrich , her second husband William John Meister, her siblings Verino Rolando, Rosalie Bertoglio and Aileen Komanetsky, and her great-great granddaughter, Zariah Yates.

The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to the staff at VNA Hospice Care, especially to Sherry and Toni.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 16, 9:30 am until the time of service at 11 a.m. at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. followed by a private burial.
