On Sunday July 28th, 2024. Loving husband of Mary Usher (nee Asher). Beloved father of Sherri (Jeff) Marshall, Michael (Lucenda) Usher and Lori (Justin) Moellman. Cherished grandfather of Todd (Ashley), Andrew, Amanda, Jora, Colton and Brieah. Dear brother of Robert (Linda) Usher, Debra (Steve) Amsinger, Susan (Jeff) Newcomb and the late Judy (John) Stork. Dear son of the late Leo and Helen Usher. Our dear uncle, cousin and friend.

James worked for several years for National Super Markets, served in the US Air Force for 4 years and was a member of the American Legion Post 283. James also coached girls softball for many years.

Services; Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Friday 8/2 for 10AM until service at Noon. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice appreciated. Interment JB National Cemetery.

  4. It brought such sadness to me to hear of Uncle Jim’s passing. It seemed to happen so fast. But what is more important is the memories of the times shared.
    Those will be what I think about. He now rests and there is comfort in what he shared when he was able.
