Thomas Walter Valentine “Tom” age 54, passed away on 9/12/2026. He was a wonderful son, brother, brother-in-law ,uncle, nephew and cousin, who was deeply loved by his family. He spent 30 years driving a tractor-trailer. A career that took him countless miles down the road and became a big part of his life.
When he wasn’t on the road, he was a devoted Cardinals fan and rarely missed a chance to cheer on his team. He enjoyed the simple things, followed baseball faithfully, and was uniquely himself in a way those closest to him will always remember.
He is survived by his parents, Maureen and Leonard Valentine, his sister Molly Valentine Maher, his brother-in-law Jeff Maher and his nieces Meredith, Allison and Caroline, and other extended family members. He will be greatly missed by his family and those who knew him.
Funeral at Mary Mother of the Church, 5901 Kerth Rd., St. Louis County 63128 on Saturday, September 26, Visitation (9 a.m. till 10 a.m.) one hour prior to funeral mass. Funeral Mass is at 10 a.m. Burial immediately following Mass at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) Mercy Health Foundation, 615 S. New Ballas Rd., St. Louis, Mo. 63141 appreciated. A service of Kutis South County.

Roy and I are so sorry for your loss. We have known Tom since he was five years old. He achieved so much in his life-getting his high school degree, his CDL license and managing his own home! Tom enjoyed Cardinal games and his family – all who were the best support system anyone could have.

We knew Tom as a person with a kind heart. As a youngster, a few years older than our children, he was always so good to them and eager to go on any adventures that we moms planned. In later years we know he delighted in being Uncle Tom to his 3 nieces. May God comfort everyone who was touched by Tom’s life.
Molly and family, Maureen & Len, you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Ive only known Tom a very short time. But he was for sure a nice man, caring, kind and loved his St.
Louis Cardinals ! And his family for sure, he will be missed by many!
Dear Len and Maureen, my heart aches for you both in regard to Tom. I did not know him but I felt I did know him through Maureen. Tom suffered from medical issues I believe and when you’re physically ill, depression sets in. In my heart, I knew Tom loved you both. May God surround you and your family with unending love during this time of grief and always.
