Judy Catherine (Chonech) Verble, 83, passed away peacefully at her home on July 27, 2026, following a courageous three-year battle with cancer.
Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Judy shared 64 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Harold Wayne Verble. Together they built a loving family that remained the center of her life.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Harold Wayne Verble; her children, Kevin Verble (Sue) and Kelly Smyth; her grandchildren, Ceri Verble (fiancée Matt Culberson), Morgan Verble, Cade Verble, Jacob Verble (fiancée Madelyn Gardner) and Sydney Smyth; her cherished great-granddaughter, June Culberson; her brothers, Butch Chonech (Charlotte) and Danny Chonech (Karen); and her sister, Debbie Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Florence and Edward Chonech.
Judy will be remembered for her unwavering love of family, her quiet strength, and the many lives she touched throughout her 83 years.
The funeral procession will leave KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd. on Thursday, July 30, at 1:30 for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service at Lakewood Park Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend.

The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the hospice caregivers and to all who provided comfort, compassion, and support during Judy s final journey.
We are very saddened to hear of Judy’s passing. We will always remember her beautiful smile, and her kind and quiet manner. . She was very strong and brave through this illness. She will surely be missed but not forgotten.

Judy and Wayne has been a part of life since 1979 when I moved two doors down from them. They have been some of the best and warmest parts of my life. I will miss Judy with all my heart. God bless you ❤️
