Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Tuesday, March 23, 2021.

A Catholic Mass and Military Burial will be held Friday, March 26th, 2021, 11:00am at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church,  11910 Eddie and Park, St Louis, MO 63126. Church services will be live streamed, go to (www.saintjustinlive.com).  Immediately following interment to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors.  Pallbearers will be Luke Johnson, Logan Johnson, Don (DJ) Johnson, Colby Schiera, Jeff Smith, Greg Slack and Don Ardolino.  Please wear a mask.

Affectionately known as Papa, he is survived by his loving wife Lois Viero (nee Hessler-Linek), his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister, in-laws, nieces and nephews.

In addition, he will be missed by many respected friends, especially those from the Concord Lions Club, the Elks Lodge at Lake of the Ozarks and boat enthusiasts on many waters.

He was a Korean War Veteran, captain of many vessels, the best BBQ’er, and a kind, loving gentle giant who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations may be made online to the Wounder Warrior Project.
