In Loving Memory

VILLARREAL, Gregory Johnny

VILLARREAL, Gregory Johnny
It is with great sadness that the family of Gregory (Greg) Johnny Villarreal announces his passing after a courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the age of 60 years, surrounded by family and close friends.  Greg will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 38 years, Cynthia and his children, Gregory Jr, Adrienne (Daniel) George, Samantha (Jonathan) Toledo and David. Greg will also be fondly remembered by his four grandchildren, Kyleigh, Emberlynn and Josephine and Camille all of whom he cherished. Greg is survived by his mother Petra Silva and sister Oralia Silva and nieces and nephews from Galveston Texas.

Greg had a heart of gold and was a caring and compassionate friend to all he met, especially the underdog, whether human or canine. Always willing to help anyone he met. Greg was a lover of all music and was always willing to share everything he knew about every genre and artist with much enthusiasm.

Greg truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; caring for his family; chatting with friends and family and being the light in his grandchildren’s eyes.

A special thank you to the medical team at Siteman Cancer Center for their unwavering care to allow him time with his family. In his final hours we wish to thank SSM St Clare and the Comfort Care team for their loving care of Greg and his family. The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards Kutis Funeral Home for being so helpful during this difficult time.

A visitation in memory of Greg will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019

Between 3-5 pm, at Kutis Funeral Home, South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, Mehlville, MO 63129 to reminisce, grieve, support each other and of course just chat.
