On Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Karen had her own Resurrection in Christ.

Karen was the daughter of Richard and Cecelia Hearst, born June 13, 1941. Beloved wife to Carl Vogt for 53 years. Mother of Michael, Brian (Veda), Audrey and Stephen (infant deceased) Vogt; grandmother of Kyle, Trevor and Blake; sister of  Janice and Ken Hearst.

Karen enjoyed an active life with many activities, but most of all she loved greeting guests at the Fabulous Fox, where she served for over 33 years. She was an active member of the St. Vincent Depaul Society and the St. Louis Theater Organ Society. Karen will be greatly missed.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois, Monday, April 4, 9:30 a.m. to St.  Simon the Apostle Catholic Church (11011 Mueller Rd.,) for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent  Depaul Society. Visitation  Sunday, 2-9 p.m.
