Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Tuesday, February 22, 2022. Beloved husband of Jo Ann Wachter (nee Beetz); dear father of Sue (Mike) Boubek, Jim (Peggy) Wachter, Lisa (Charlie) Vogt, Janet (Dallas) Long, Bob (Tiffany) Wachter and Julie (Kevin) Bresnahan; dear grandpa of Nick, Madison, Sarah,  Jack, Lauren, Morgan, Taylor, Danny, Kendall, Joey, Andrew, James, Ryan and Ava. Great-grandpa of Asher; dear brother of Bill (Sue) Wachter; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend.

Services: Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Saturday, February 26, 11:30 a.m. to St. Catherine Laboure  Catholic Church for 12  noon Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Member of Concord Lions and Sunset Country Club and Plumbing Industry Council. Contributions to St. Jude Children’s Hospital appreciated. Visitation Friday, 4-8 p.m.

  1. I’m sorry we have lost my cousin. Jim was always kind to me and I remember him hiding Easter eggs for us at Aunt Marges house , some around the stone bar b que fireplace his father Uncle Arnold had built. Jim was about 14 or maybe 16? but seemed to still be enjoying the Easter Bunny. I liked him very much, always a calm influence for me. Love to you and family.
