Marilyn S. Wade (nee McKenna) peacefully entered into eternal rest Friday, August 21, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Mark J. Wade; dear mother of Nikki (Craig) Philippi, Robyn (Todd) Birkenholz, Jackie (Brian) Hazzard and the late Bonnie McKenna Wade; loving grandmother of McKenna, Drew, Henry, Ellie, Mallory, Wade, Wyatt, Weston, and Laney. Dear daughter of the late James and Beulah McKenna; Dear sister of Patricia Coleman (nee McKenna).
Marilyn dedicated her life to caring for others as a registered nurse, specializing in oncology, and later continued that calling by volunteering as a hospice nurse.
Beyond nursing, Marilyn cherished time with friends over lunch and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on her grandchildren at their many sporting events and activities. She was one of their biggest and most devoted fans. She loved nothing more than her family’s annual trip to Destin.
Services: Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois. Sunday, August 30, 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel Monday, August 31, 9:15 a.m. to Sacred Heart Church (Valley Park) for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment Sunset Cemetery following.
