  1. Anna was a sweet friend and a great coworker, although I only knew her for a short time. She was a big help to me in my job. I used to refer to her as the “Fount of All Knowledge” because she was always able to answer my questions. I often sat in her office laughing and joking and talking about our jobs and the world in general. Her door was always open and she always made time for me. I will miss her greatly. Rest in peace, Anna.

  3. I met Anna Walker in August of the year 2000 when I transferred to the Ops Center from the USBANK Tower she hired me into the Wire Transfer Dept. Anna was always a hard worker, she lived for USBANK and her precious daughter Sara. In the beginning we definitely had our disagreements and we often bumped heads, I was young (19) and just didn’t understand that she just wanted to bring out the best in me, however, my attitude and her firmness would often clash, because I felt she was being to hard on me. I finally understood, and in the year 2014 we mended all issues, I am so thankful that I was able to apologize to her for being so stubborn. and I am glad that I was able to thank her and tell her how much I appreciated every lesson that she ever taught me. Anna was so dedicated and she will forever be remembered as one of USBANKS most dedicated employees R.I.P ANNA ( BANANNA) Walker that was my nick name that I called her when we would see each other in the halls. and she would just laugh so hard. YOU WILL DEFINITELY BE MISSED !!

  5. I met Anna Walker in 2000, when I transferred into GA Lockbox at USBank. I didn’t know Anna on a personal level, however, we did converse often upon passing in the building, collaborated on a few work situations and gathered at a few group events outside work. Anna was very knowledgeable and passionate about her work. because of her dedication to her job and her work, I sometimes called her Ms. USBank and she would roll her eyes at me and laugh. (LOL) I will definitely miss having small talk with her, seeing her in the halls and just working with her all together.

  7. Anna, I will miss your smile and laughter. I met Ms. Anna while working at USBank, we connected immediately. Being members of the risk and compliance depts., Anna kept me laughing with her sense of humor, especially during our serious situations. Anna was a great person and a great coworker, she was always there to lend a helping hand, call you to ensure your needs were met and ensure you had the correct information. I admired her strength, character and heart. I will continue to be inspired by her actions and her amazing energy! Thank you so much Anna for allowing me into your space to get to know you and share stories about our kiddos. You will be missed, Rest in Peace.

  9. Anna will always remain one of the most positive and patient people I have ever had the pleasure to know. No matter if she was red faced and embarrassed because Sara and I could never act right out in public or working through our every day challenges between friends, she never lost her composure or class. You are my second Mom, and I love you. A little light has gone out in our lives, but will remain forever in our hearts.

  11. Anna will always be in my heart as one of the sweetest souls I’ve ever known! Her kindness spilled into every aspect of her life, especially in her love for her daughter Sara. There was never a moment that she wouldnt do anything to help when asked.

Her love for her family and those she cared for always went above and beyond. I’m so blessed to have known her and have her in my life.

My love and sympathy to my best friend Sara and the entire family! Anna will be dearly missed, and forever remembered.

  13. I met Anna, when I managed Wire Transfer in 2006. She was full of knowledge that I was always bugging her to share it. She was so funny that if she told me something she would wait a couple days and quiz me to see if I remembered. She and I had a real closeness because we both had just one daughter. I left the department and went to another department in 2008. Not long after I was gone the perfect job opened up in the department I managed and I told Anna this is the perfect position for you. She applied and has been in that position until now. Anna my heart aches that you can’t fuss at me when I am not making a dish right and you would tell me what I have done wrong. Our personal joke was she was special and she would say “I am some kind of special”. Well yes you were and I am really going to miss you. Sara she loved you to the end of time, hold on to that she is just watching over you from the heavens now. RIH my special friend! To all of Anna’s family, may God give you the strength and comfort to get through this difficult time.

  15. Anna was a dedicated professional and one of the hardest workers I have ever met. She went above and beyond everyday to make sure the job was done correct.

I had the privilege of working with Anna and was always glad to help her with whatever she needed. She had a big heart and a bigger personality.

    She will be missed.

  19. Anna, you were one of a kind, dedicated, hard working, quick witted, and such a caring human. It was a pleasure to have known and worked with you over the last 7 years. I can recall our last conversation perfectly as you joked about retirement and couldn’t wait. I hope you’re having the best retirement a person could dream of in heaven. Site visits will not be the same and I wish I could have said one last goodbye with one last hug.

  23. I am saddened to see Anna’s passing. I met Anna in the 1970’s when she was working at Boatmen’s Bank downtown. That fiery red hair – and a red Grand Prix to match. I have many good memories of her. I regret not keeping more in touch with her through the years.
My thoughts go with Anna’s daughter Sara, and her family.
