William “Bill” E. Walton age 91, Thursday, October 15, 2026. Loving husband of Barbara Ann Walton (nee: Taylor) for 72 years; loving dad of Mary Dillard, Mitchell “Mitch” (Roxanne) Walton, Janice “Jan” (Richard) Regna and Susan “Sue” (Scott) Ziegler; loving grandpa of Joshua (Amanda), Jessica, Angela (Matt), Gina (Jimmy), Joseph (Stephanie), Anthony (Kim) and the late Mitchell “Mit”; loving great grandpa of 17, great great grandpa of 2, and friend to many.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force in the Korean War for 18 months. After his service to our country Bill drove for Kraft Foods for 32 years and happily retired for 34 years. His whole world was his family and enjoyed telling stories especially ghost stories. He was the most loving father who cared deeply for his family always showing love and compassion every day of his life.
Services: Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road Friday, October 23, 2026, 11:30am. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, October 22, 4-7pm.
To my Dad, I miss you dad terribly. You are my whole heart and soul, my best friend. You stood by me not only thru the best of times but mostly you stood strong during toughest of times. You were my place to run to. We shared a special bond with each other one that is indescribable, one filled with love. I promise to hold you in my heart for eternity.
