  3. To Doug’s family.. I have known Doug for many years. We not only went to school together but we worked together for a couple of years at the Brentwood Show. We had a lot of fun no matter where we were. He was like a big brother to me when I needed advice and maybe occasional help. I haven’t seen him in years but have talked to him on Facebook and was so glad to have the opportunity to catch up on a lot of things. He loved his family with all of his being and talked about you guys and he was so proud of you. I will miss chatting with him on Facebook but I know he’s in a much better place. God bless you all. Adios Doug… see you again one day.

  8. I have known Prof. Doug since 1998 within the context of Kajukenbo. He had profound impact on Kajukenbo in the Midwest. His study of herbology from Grandmaster Alan Carter has benefited many people in the Midwest as well. He will be greatly missed by his students, family, and friends.
