Nicholas Weber

In Loving Memory

Weber, Nicholas Thomas

March 27, 1997 - January 19, 2024

Nicholas Thomas Weber was born on March 27, 1997 and passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 26. He is survived by his loving parents, Joe and Ann Weber, caring sister, Emily Weber (Jason McLoud), and his grandparents, Tom and Sue Molitor.  Nick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vern and Lorraine Weber. Nick leaves a large extended family with many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins in Missouri and Iowa.

Nick graduated from Rockwood Summit High School in Fenton, MO in 2015. During his time there, he enjoyed playing on the Lacrosse team and playing percussion in the Marching Band. He then graduated from St. Louis Community College in 2020. He was very proud of having achieved straight A’s while taking challenging, higher-level math and science classes. Nick had recently started classes at Missouri University of Science and Technology (S&T) to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

In his free time, Nick enjoyed playing video games, hanging out with friends, and making jokes. He had a keen interest in politics and enjoyed discussing various subjects he had extensively researched.

Nick also had a knack for problem-solving, which he demonstrated through his love for putting together complex Lego sets and mastering the Rubik’s Cube. At the age of 6, he mastered the Ladder Climb game at Six Flags and proudly won huge stuffed animals that he gave to friends and family.

Nick enjoyed the outdoors, which included deer hunting, hiking, skateboarding, snowboarding, and some unforgettable adventures on family trips. One memorable incident occurred in Spain when he was 10 years old, where he bravely intervened as a peacemaker between two fighting cats, only to be bitten so hard through his hand that he passed out and was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Nick had many unique pets over the years; including chinchillas, a bearded dragon named Scav (short for scavenger), Jake (his dog for a day), rats, and most recently two parakeets named Pterodactyl and Tyrannosaurarus.

He had a passion for fine whiskey/bourbon and had amassed an impression collection. He also had quite the collection of limited edition sneakers.

Nick will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His memory will forever be cherished, and his positive spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him.

Visitation to be held from 4-8 pm on Friday, January 26, at Kutis Affton Chapel located at 10151 Gravois Road, St. Louis, Missouri, 63123. A funeral mass will be held at 10am on Saturday, January 27 at St Paul Catholic Church, 15 Forest Knoll Dr, Fenton, MO 63026.

  21. The thought of the loss of a son just makes me cry. My first thought of him was Nick’s taking the lead, navigating the lakes by map during our Boundary Waters boy scout trip to northern Minnesota. He certainly loved the Outdoors!
I spoke with him later by chance while shopping and I remember thinking . . . . how grownup he was and what a good man he had become.
From the Stelmachowicz family to the Webers, may Jesus hold you tightly and bring you Peace.
