JOHN WEBSTER

In Loving Memory

Webster, John

December 22, 1959 - July 6, 2025

Passed away on Sunday, July 6th, 2025.

Beloved husband of Denise Webster (nee Parks); devoted father of Chelsi, Shawna, and Thomas “TJ” Webster; cherished son of the late James “Jim” and Patricia Webster (nee Hand); he leaves behind his sister and brother-in-law, Sue (Richard) Bergeron and their children, and his brother, Mike Webster; dearest friend to Kevin and Candace Halpin and Calvin and Glenda Scott; adored son-in-law of Lillian Parks (nee Mayer) and the late Thomas Parks; he also leaves behind his brothers-in-law, Jeff (Colleen) Parks and Thomas (Valerie) Parks and their children;  our dear uncle, great uncle, cousin, godfather, and friend to many.

John will be remembered as the life of the party. His wit, humor, and and generous spirit will be sorely missed. His integrity will serve as a guiding light for those he leaves behind, and a lifetime of memories well made will provide comfort in his absence. A devoted family man, he enjoyed almost 30 years of marriage to his wife Denise, spending time together in the good company of their countless friends and family members laughing and telling stories.

A native Floridian, his love of the beach, seafood, and being on the water never wavered. His dedication to helping others was exemplified by a lifetime of hospitality and senior living career service, most notably at Brookdale of Creve Couer where he spent 15 years. His reputation as a man of faith, a patriot, and a life-long Parrothead will forever endure in the hearts of all whose lives he touched. Let us all think of him any time we crack a beer or a joke.

The Webster family would like to extend a special thank you to Kevin and Candace and the rest of the Halpin family for their friendship and support throughout the years.

In lieu of flowers, contributions made to the American Cancer Society are greatly appreciated.

SERVICES: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) on Saturday, July 12th, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, with the funeral service at 1:00 PM.

  1. Having met John on the golf course when he had to carry Kevin in their two man scramble, he made us realize that the DiSaronno open was all about fun and not about winning. John brought the Amaretto and after they scrambled for a six on a par 3… The tournament was named. I know that John is with God. He loved Denise and his children very much and has a nice room in the heavenly mansion. Put in a good word for me John.

  3. Denise and Family, I knew John from the Holiday Inn days in St Peters and the Sheraton Hotel in the Lou. The relationship grew as he helped me in many ways with life’s ups and downs, and learning. John was a regular customer at my music store and he had the kids take lessons form our teachers. A devoted father – he always talked about his children. I hope the family can remember the good times he shared. I am sure there were many. Truly, he will be missed.

  4. Working with John was truly one of the highlights of my career. His lighthearted stories, his kindness, and the genuine care he showed for everyone around him left a lasting impression. He had a way of making others feel seen and valued, and his warmth was contagious. What always stood out most was how he lit up when he spoke of his family—Denise and the kids. You could feel how deeply he loved them, and it was a beautiful thing to witness.

I learned so much from John—not just professionally, but personally. He exemplified grace, humor, and heart in everything he did. I look back on that time with immense gratitude and fondness.

My heart goes out to Denise and his family and all who loved him. He will be missed deeply.
