  5. This was my beloved ” Aunt Barbara”. We haven’t been in touch for some time and just today I felt need to look up her number and reconnect. She must have been speaking to my heart as I’m encouraged by her only 2 days after her funeral. I’m so sorry to have missed the celebration of her life. I remember her piercing my ears at her home at 13 years of age (a right of passage) and I followed in her footsteps as a nurse. She was one of my idols, being a single mother with a successful career in the 60’s.

My heart goes out to Michelle and Lisa. She spoke of her endless pride in both of you the last time we met.

  9. Dear Michelle, my condolences to you. I haven’t seen her since being a young girl getting my ears pierced in her kitchen (like Tara). Aunt Barbara was a nice lady and I wish we’d have kept in touch. Just recently I was asking about her.
    May she Rest In Peace

  11. Michelle, Lisa, Mary….We are sooo saddened to hear of her passing. Barb really saved my mom’s life back in 2003 when she had a stroke and she was just the sweetest and loving lady and friend for so many years. Her and my mom Betty were buddies and travel partners for many years…We lost touch a few years ago and for that I am so sad. Our sincerest sympathies and prayers to you all. God bless.
