Dear Susan and David, I am so very sorry to hear of Carol’s passing. She was a truly unique and wonderful person whose brilliance was only surpassed by her friendship. We’d been friends since high school (Southwest class of 1970) and had taken several memorable trips together before I moved to Indy in 1998. I’ll always cherish the memory of our many walks around Francis Park and long discussions about the state of the world over meals at Steak’nShake. I’m so fortunate to have known her and will miss her deeply.
