Beloved husband of Linda Wehner and the late Kay Wehner; loving father of Lisa (Phil) Stegmann and Matthew (Jennifer) Starbuck; dear stepfather of Krystle (Theron) Jackson and Alexandra (Ali Alolaywi) Leugoud; dear grandfather of Alex Birdnow, Isebella and Dominic Stegmann, Gavin, Jackson and Emily Starbuck, Lyla Jackson and Nawaf Alolaywi; dear brother of Robert (Anne), Jeanette and the late John (the late Barbara) Wehner, Norlene (Dennis) Lewis and Rita (John) Stillman.
Michael was former leader of Cub Scout Troop 25. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors and fast cars.
