Beloved husband of Mary Westermayer (nee Bogardus); loving father of Matthew Westermayer and the late Frederick, Jason and Jeffrey Westermayer; adoring grandfather of Taylor Rebmann, Haley, Kyle and Madison Westermayer; cherished great-grandfather of Levi Westermayer; dear brother of Judy (the late Stephen) Pazur, Joseph (Donna) Westermayer and the late Kathleen (Richard) McLean and Michael (surviving Toni) Westermayer; dear brother-in-law of Anne (Chuck) Moss and Bill (Nancy) Bogardus. Our dearest uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Frederick was a man deeply rooted in his Christian faith who loved his family and friends. He enjoyed traveling, building models, and was one of St. Louis Cardinals biggest fans! Frederick enjoyed collecting a variety of things such as Kinder toys and Pez dispensers, two of his favorites. Frederick loved to sip Diet Mountain Dew while feeding his squirrels as he took care of his plants and worked on his yard. He enjoyed decorating for holidays to celebrate with family and friends. His last travel adventure was a cruise with the love of his life, Mary, that is cherished as magical. Frederick was a person who expressed love and compassion for all. He will be missed dearly by those who were honored to know him.

I love and miss my grandpa more than words can say, but I find peace in God’s faithfulness and His promise of eternal life. I pray for his beautiful reunion in Heaven with my uncles, Jason and Jeff, my father, Fred, and the many loved ones who went before him.
