Kurt Anthony Westrich, 60, of St. Louis, MO, died July 13, 2024, in St. Louis, MO. Born in St. Louis, MO to Phillip and Barbara (nee Schramm) Westrich. He married Susan Auer and celebrated almost 34 years of joyful and supportive marriage. Together, Kurt and Susan had 2 children and 2 grandchildren.
Kurt is survived by his wife Susan Westrich, sons Jake (Nicole) Westrich and Jared Westrich, grandchildren Liam Westrich and Bennett Westrich, sister Michelle (Jeff) Kyle, sister-in-law Margie Mesplay and brother-in-law Michael (Patti) Auer, nieces Alycia (Dan) Schrader, Kristi (Andy) Schroeder and Ashley (Steve) Haar, nephews Brian (Julie) Mesplay and Jeff Mesplay, dear friends Todd Wagganer and Brian Quinn, Bob the cat, and his two grand-dogs. Kurt was preceded in death by his parents Phillip and Barbara Westrich.
Kurt served his country in the Army National Guard. He was proud of his time and loved sharing the stories. Kurts main career was in industrial sales where he excelled because he truly cared about his clients. During his retirement, Kurt worked as a Gameday Compliance Monitor for the MLB. He thoroughly enjoyed his time working at Busch Stadium, meeting the players, learning more about the game, and making friends with his coworkers. Kurt taught himself how to make wine and enjoyed sharing his “Mad and Grumpy’s” variety of flavors.
Kurt passed on Saturday, July 13th 2024 in the evening surrounded by family. There’s no question he was greeted by his parents, gave them a giant hug and is enjoying the time catching up with them. Our dear husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend, coach, and mentor to many.
Services: Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road Monday, July 29, 10am. Visitation Sunday 4-8pm. Interment St. Trinity Cemetery.

HE WAS A BIG PART OF MY LIFE GROWING UP. WE HAD SOME GREAT TIMES TOGETHER. HE WAS THE BROTHER I NEVER HAD.THE BEST FRIEND A GUY COULD ASK FOR. I LOVED BEING PART OF THE FAMILY. YOU WILL BE FOREVER MISSED MY FIEND. HOPE TO SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE.
