White, Ben

In Loving Memory

White, Ben R.

January 7, 1977 - October 1, 2024

Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

Beloved father of the late Ryan Robert White; loving companion of Becky Woodside; adoring son of the late Myron and Gail White; cherished brother of Paul White, Daniel (Darlene) White and Peggy (Chris) Callow. Our dearest stepfather, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Ben White passed away on October 1st, 2024, at the age of forty-seven.  Ben was deeply loved and he left behind a hole in our hearts.  He was passionate about outdoor adventures and spending time with his loved ones.  Ben was our rock, he was always reliable and selfless. He excelled at everything he tried, from construction work to firing a kiln.  He helped his little sister move multiple times with no complaints and was her designated driver on her 21st birthday.  Ben followed in the footsteps of his brothers Dan and Paul by joining the United States Marine Corp from 1996 to 2000.  Ben created an amazing family with Becky, and her daughters Kendra and Jenna in 2019.

Ben became a father to Ryan on October 4th, 2004. He was an amazing, devoted father.  Ryan was tragically killed by a wrong way driver on April 24th, 2024.  Ben lost his battle with his darkness on October 1st, 2024 and left us to be with Ryan.  Ryan was Ben’s whole heart.

Words will never be enough to describe who Ben was and how much he was loved.

Thank you Ben, for what you’ve given

No one could ask for more

May you rest with God in Heaven

From now through evermore

Semper Fi…Always Faithful
