Greg Widaman, 69, of Miami, Florida, died in the comfort and presence of family on August 29, 2025. Born on October 4, 1955, in St. Louis, Missouri, Greg lived a life rich in faith, experience, adventure, and kindness.
He was a proud graduate of Brentwood High School (’74) and Trinity University in Texas (’78) where he built lifelong friendships. A strong Christian brother who left us at Gods appointed time. Rest in peace Greg.
I was shocked to hear of the news. Greg was always so generous and cheerful and always seeking ways to uplift people. I was sorry to lose touch with him after he moved but happy he is rejoicing now in heaven.
Greg was always the life of the party at family events. He always had great stories to share and was kind to everyone who crossed his path. He had exceptional style and left a legacy to be remembered. He will be greatly missed but we know heaven opened it’s gates happily to welcome him in.
We are deeply saddened by Greg’s passing. Some of Craig’s best memories are of growing up with Greg and playing football together at Brentwood High. After college, Greg welcomed Craig in Houston, even lending him a suit for interviews—just one example of his generosity. Throughout the years, Greg never failed to remember every birthday and anniversary, always sending thoughtful books, articles, and words of encouragement. He was a dear friend who left us far too soon, and he will surely be missed.
Heaven gained a truly top-notch angel.
Gregarious was a wonderful man and a strong Christian. He was part of a group of friends in Los Angeles who often got together for dinner. Also went Italy with Greg and the same group in 2006. Greg was always fun to be around. He will be missed.
