Passed away on Monday, July 13th, 2026.
Beloved husband of Kathy Williams (nee Arter); devoted father of Angie (Travis) Crouse, Adam (Kate) Williams, Michael (Brittany) Williams, and Cindy (Stephen) Stefanski; adoring Paw of Charlie, Addie, John, Keira, Riley, Jameson, Tanner, and Owen; dearest son of the late James and Dolores Williams; loving brother of Pam (Danny) Yost, Richard Williams, and the late Jimmy (survived by Mel) Williams; our dear uncle, great uncle, brother-in-law, cousin, and friend to many.
John cherished every moment spent with his family, whether relaxing at the lake or exploring the world together on cruises. He especially enjoyed fishing, boating, and playing yard games with his family. His competitive spirit was evident in everything he did, always bringing enthusiasm and fun to every gathering.
John was a devoted husband and loving father, but one of his greatest joys in life was being ‘Paw’. He delighted in spoiling his grandchildren, often sneaking them treats and rarely telling them no. His love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

SERVICES: Funeral will be held at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) on Thursday, July 23rd at 8:30 AM. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday, July 22nd from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.
I worked with John at Edward Jones starting in the early 1990s. He was a kind, gentle, friendly soul and all who knew him well will miss him greatly. All of you in his family are in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time.

I first met John in the early 70’s when we worked at Maritz Inc. in Fenton. Kathy also worked there and they eventually started dating, fell in love, and got married.
As time went by my wife and I moved out of state and I didn’t get to visit very often. But the one thing that I learned about John over the years was how much he loved his family and how much they loved him.
John was always a joy to be around and was a close friend. I will never forget him.
My prayers are with Kathy and all the family.
Having been a neighbor and friend of john over 30 years he and l had many conversations and debates leaning on the fence. While our love and passion we felt for the Cardinals made for many discussions and the occasional disagreement as we both shared our opinions and thoughts on many topics. But at the end of the day all was good. He also had a passion for the lake and his family especially his grand children. He will be missed but will live in our heart and thoughts forever. RIP my friend.
I met John and the family in early 2000! John was a great guy loved his family and loved traveling! He will be greatly missed in our Salon! We will miss your smiling face! Praying for the family
I’m so sorry to hear about John. We were neighbors at the lake. Larry loved to visit with John. Larry passed away 4 years ago. Probably visiting together again. I know John will be missed a lot. I’m so sorry.
