In Loving Memory of Bobby Williamson – Oakville’s Unofficial Mayor
It is with heavy hearts that we remember and celebrate the life of Bobby, a man whose spirit was as boundless as his humor. Known far and wide as the “Unofficial Mayor of Oakville,” Bobby wasn’t just a part of the town—he was the town. Wherever he went, laughter followed, and his larger-than-life personality turned even the simplest interactions into unforgettable moments.
Bobby had a gift for making people feel special. Whether it was a quick-witted joke at the local Dierbergs or a boisterous greeting that could be heard across Telegraph Rd., he had a way of bringing joy to everyone he encountered. He knew no strangers, only friends he hadn’t yet met.
Though his humor made him a legend, it was Bobby’s kindness and authenticity that truly defined him. He was the man you could count on when times got tough.
His legacy is woven into the very fabric of Oakville. The countless memories shared by those lucky enough to know him. Bobby’s passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but his spirit will live on in the laughter and love he inspired in all of us.
To honor Bobby’s memory, let us carry forward his zest for life, his generosity, and his unwavering commitment to bringing people together. He may no longer walk the streets of Oakville, but his heart will forever be at its center.
Rest easy, Bobby. You were more than our unofficial mayor—you were our light, our laughter, and our friend.
Services: Funeral at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. on Monday, December 9, 10 a.m. Burial J.B. National Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 4-8 p.m.

Bobby had a heart of gold! I was honored enough to get to know him at Dierbergs! Every Valentines he would call me and say you know the routine, I need beautiful flowers and beautiful cards for my Anniversary and Valentines Day, and some candy or chocolate covered strawberries, and make sure it’s delivered to Kim, before she gets off work! He absolutely adored Kim, nothing was ever to expensive for her. I always made sure she got the best! He always talked about Kim, Jayden and Bryce they were his world and he adored them. You could always tell by the way he smiled and lit up when he talked about them! All of us at Dierbergs will truly miss him! He was one of a kind!! And you always knew you had a friend for life with Bobby!
My Heart and Prayers goes out to Kim and the kids!
Bobby, my brother-in-law, was truly an amazing and caring soul. His love for his kids and Kim was unmatched. Bobby immediately welcomed me as family and as his “lil sis” as he referred to me. I’ll always cherish how much he watched over his “lil brother, Aaron and myself. I’m sure he will continue to watch over us. Bobby touched so many people’s lives and his memory will live on in all of hearts forever. ❤️
My daughter called me crying. I took a deep breath before asking what is wrong. With all the men passing inthe last few years, we have another. Love you
May God give you strength
Bobby always made us laugh and give us a big man hug when he brought his truck to us for service .He. would always give my son advice on life when he came in.He will be missed by my entire staff at Stl diesel. What a one of a kind person always walked through and said high to everyone and introduced him self to all new employees. He will be greatly missed around here!.
Love and prayers to his family!
Bobby was not only my brother, but he was my mentor. I always looked up to him growing up as a child and still looked up to him to this day. He truly believed in family first. When he talked about Kim..Jayden and Bryce, you knew they ment everything to him. Bobby achieved the perfect life…wonderful wife name Kim…which made me find me a “Kim” of my own to marry. He have fathered 2 amazing adults in Jayden and Bryce…I’m thankful to be their uncle and I will be there for them if they ever need me. Bobby and I talked about things we wanted to do together as brothers. I started my own company and he was so proud of me and wanted to come and work with me when he retired. I’ve been going back and forth trying to process this the best way I can, but it’s so hard to lose someone who touched so many people with his presence. Bobby…it’s hard for me to say “Goodbye”..because I don’t can’t accept this. We had so much we wanted to do with our families…things we wanted to do together as brothers. I know you will be looking over us down here…I’ll miss hearing you say “That’s the plan baby” or “I’m too pretty for that”. I love you Bobby..Rest In Heaven.
Bobby has been such an uplifting gentleman to have interacted with often at Dierbergs. He always has had a kind and caring word to share and lots of good humor. More than once when he saw that I was sad he asked to pray with me and did so right then and there. Now it is my turn to pray for him in praying for the repose of his soul and praying for his family. May God hold his family close in His comfort, care, guidance, and grace. Bobby, you shall be dearly missed by the many people whose lives you have touched with your kindness and good humor, including mine. Rest in God’s grace, sir.
