Christopher Windhorst

In Loving Memory

Windhorst, Christopher S.

March 11, 1986 - October 8, 2024

Tuesday October 8, 2024.

Beloved husband of Amanda Windhorst (nee Deno); loving father of Kinley, CJ and Caden Windhorst; dearest son of Stephen and Debra Windhorst; dear brother of Timothy (Jayla Kipfer) Windhorst; dear son-in-law of Kathleen (William) Taylor and David (Jennifer) Deno; dear brother-in-law of David (Julie) Deno, Danielle (Andrew) Halaz, Alyssa (Ryan) Polete and Matthew (Sara) Taylor; dear nephew, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Chris left us far too soon at the young of age of 38.  He was a devoted father to his three beautiful children, who were the pride and joy of his life. His love for them was boundless, and he cherished every moment spent with them.  Chris was admired and loved by many and made lasting friendships wherever he went.  His kindness, generosity, and unwavering support for those around him will be deeply missed.  Chris’ legacy of love, kindness, and strength will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Services: Funeral Mass on Monday October 14 at 10:00 AM at Assumption Catholic Church (4725 Mattis Rd. 631238). Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to assist with Chris and Amanda’s children’s education are appreciated. Visitation Sunday at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) 2:00-8:00 PM.

  7. Debbie, Steve, Tim, Amanda and family, I am thinking of all of you, but I know that no words can heal your pain. The road ahead is rocky and uneven, but one step in front of the other will get you through. If you see an extra set of footprints along the way, you know they are HIS. ✝️. Love you! Karin
