In Loving Memory

Windmueller, Kathryn “Kathy”

Age 77 of Arnold MO, passed away on August 10, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. She was born February 25, 1945, in St Louis, MO to Kathryn “Kay” (Hopkins) and Bill Fowler. She was married to David Windmueller on June 25, 1983

Surviving is her husband of 39 years, David Windmueller of Arnold, MO, 2 sons: Ron Freiner of Arnold, MO; Tim (Julie) Freiner of Lake St Louis, MO; 4 children by marriage, 2 daughters: Laura Windmueller of Barnhart, MO; Angie (Steve) Otto of Imperial, MO; 2 sons Chadd (Danielle) Windmueller of Eureka, MO; David (Candy) Windmueller of Ballwin, MO.

15 Grandchildren: Ashley (Tony) Nazzoli, Dale Lynde Jr, Brett Merritt, Trey Jimenez, Troy, Tyler, and Paige Freiner, Taylor and Abbey Ward, Danielle (Mike) Toro, Kyle (Kaitlin) Windmueller, Drew, Elise, CJ, & Jordan Windmueller. 4 great grandchildren: Gabriella Nazzoli, Charlee Combs, Giana & Mila Toro. 2 sisters: Shirley Kugler & Billie Jean Fowler and several nieces, nephews, and their families.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, 1 infant son Richard “Ricky” Freiner, and 3 brothers: Bill Fowler “Jr”, John “Sonny” and Ron Darby.

Kathy worked at St Louis Mounting Company and various book binderies for many years. She and her husband owned & operated several businesses including WDC Delivery and newspaper deliveries. Kathy loved taking care of her home and was always busy, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. From telling stories, dancing with her sisters (especially to Proud Mary), watching movies, preparing her famous potato salad, playing board and card games, and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, she loved to be involved.

A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 20th at 4pm at Kutis (Lemay Ferry) Memorials may be made in Kathy’s name to Mercy Hospice South – de Greeff Hospice House.
