On Friday Dec. 20, 2024. Loving husband of the late Dolores A. Wingbermuehle (nee Daum). Beloved father of Kim (Steve) Carey, Tim (Valleri) and the late Lynn Wingbermuehle. Cherished grandfather of Ashley (Casey) Hodges, Jake (Roschella) Carey, Brock, Kennedy, Reese and Eli Wingbermuehle. Great grandfather of Charlotte “Charlie”, Michael “Mac” Hodges and Levi Carey.

Gene was a Truck Driver, long time youth coach, member of the Meramec Arnold Elks. He was Assistant Chief for Rock Community Fire Department and served on the History Committee

Services; Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Thursday. Jan. 9th 9:30AM for 10AM mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Imperial). In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cances Society appreciated. Visitation at Kutis Wednesday Jan 8th 4-8PM
