Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, on Saturday, July 10, 2021. Devoted husband for 62 years to Marlene. Beloved father of Sue (Kelly) Stone, Sally (Chris) Drazen, Sharon (John) Nichols, and Sandy (Tom) Kutey. Proud Papa of Brad (Courtney) Stone, Ben Stone, Ellen (Kyle) Johnson, Tom (Paige) Drazen, KJ Drazen, Allison Nichols, Maddie Nichols, Adam Brownlee, Will (Candace) Brownlee, and Douglas (Steven Lawson) Brownlee. Great Papa of Everly and August Stone, Liam and Owen Stone. Brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Mr. Bill was an avid supporter of the McKinley Goldbugs, SLU Billikens and Soulard Restoration Group. He loved participating in sports at St. Catherine Laboure as a coach, referee and umpire.

He had a long career in electrical contracting. Upon retirement, Bill joined his wife in the real estate industry.

Mr. Bill was past Commander and Chaplin of American Legion BKZ Post 422, and proud Legionnaire of the Year in 2016. He was an Honor Flight recipient in 2018.

You could always count on Mr. Bill to put a smile on your face, join you at a buffet, or turn a stranger into a friend.

Visitation at Kutis Funeral Home – Affton, 10151 Gravois Road, on Thursday, July 15, 4-8 pm.

Mass at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1408 S 10th St, St. Louis, MO 63104, Friday, July 16, 10 am. Interment will be held in private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Legion BKZ Post 422 – 2601 S 11th St, St. Louis, MO 63118 (care of Christopher Schwarz) or St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church – 1408 S 10th St, St. Louis, MO 63104.

  1. Bill was a gem of a man. Always a perfect gentleman and always positive in everyday work within the electrical wholesaling industry. A wonderful soul that saddens me he is gone.
