Woker, Leonard Anthony

May 16, 1923 - September 14, 2024

Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Saturday September 14, 2024, at age 101.

Beloved son of the late Anthony and Anna Woker (nee Gerbes).  Dear brother of the late Norbert Woker, Dolores (William) Edwards, Celeste (Charles) Lambing and Wilma (Allen) Hampton.  Our dear uncle, great uncle and friend.

Mr. Woker served in the United States Navy as a 2nd Lt. during WW II and Korea.  He was a lifelong employee of Texaco.  He was a devote Catholic and a friend of St. Louis University and Jesuits of U.S. Central and Southern Province.

Mr. Woker’s family wishes to thank the volunteers and staff at Laclede Groves and Alternative Hospice for their loving care of Leonard.

Services: Visitation at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (5020 Rhodes Ave. 63109) Thursday September 19, 10:00 AM until funeral mass at 11:00 AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. A service of KUTIS AFFTON Chapel.
