Pam was born in St. Louis, Missouri and passed just days before turning 82 years old on 08/15/2025 following a massive stroke. She had been graciously and thoughtfully cared for by Delmar Gardens South Pathways Community Hospice team.
Dear mother of Gregory M. Wood and Sherry E. [nee Wood] Andrews [Bryan] all of whom were lovingly at her side for her final moment. Most loving sister of Patricia [nee Hofer] Ott [John] was there in spirit, praying just a minute before her passing asking for mercy and to end any needless suffering. We are so thankful and humbled by the peaceful and swiftness of her passing.
Dearest grandmother to Melissa [nee Wood] Phillips, Timothy Wood, Matthew Andrews [Noor Alali] and Austin Andrews. Dearest great grandmother to Aviah and Eden Phillips.
Pam loved to dance, play golf, and was an excellent cook. She enjoyed cruising and traveled abroad. She was unconditionally loving and a loyal friend to many. She will be remembered for her laughter, kindness, honesty, compassion, generosity and simple beauty.
You were my mother, my friend and my champion. I will see and hear you everyday, in myself and my children and every memory of you. Our love is frozen in time so just Keep Dancing!
