In Loving Memory

Young, Glenn “Terry”

July 28, 1945 - August 7, 2024

Glenn “Terry” Young, the only son of Elvis and Christine (who was rumored to be Christine’s favorite) stepped through Heaven’s gate on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Everyone dies but not everyone lives. Terry lived a very full life and made an impression on everyone he met during his 79 years here on this earth. He was a proud Veteran who served his country in Korea during the Vietnam War. He came home and married the love of his life, Diana. They loved to travel and were lucky enough to see states from one coast to the other together. They had two daughters, Lori (Robert) Harry and Lisa (Joe) Treat. Terry was an avid boater. He taught so many people how to ski, kneeboard, and fish. He loved fishing. He and Diana along with their best friends Robert and Lana Woods spent the last 25 years fishing annually at Truman Lake, catching lots of fish and sharing belly laughs. He adored his grandchildren, Tyler (Heather) Harry, Taylor (Tyler) Skrobonja, Tanner Harry, Zachary (Sara) Treat, and Austin Treat. He was so very proud of them. He was Over the Moon crazy about his 7 Great grandkids, Olin, Wren, Waylon, McCoy, Jonah, SallyAnn, and Dani Kay. He was always their biggest fan. He made every football and baseball game Tyler, Zack, and Tanner played, every softball game Taylor had, every Play and choir performance Austin was in, not to mention all of the school plays and award ceremonies. He was the same in his older years with the great grandkids. He loved going to Grand Parent days at school and watching the kids play ball. He loved spending time with his family. He loved his brother-in-law Gary, his sisters, Jewel, Faye, Lil, Sonya (Greg), and all of his nieces and nephews. He loved his church family FBCA and he loved the Lord. When thinking of and remembering Terry several words come to mind…Strong, Caring, Funny, Witty, Handsome, Good hearted, Kind, Athletic, Charismatic, Cool; he was just an all around GOOD guy who will be missed by so many…
