  1. Tyler was my rack mate in boot camp. He single-handedly gave me the motivation to strive for greatness and finish boot camp as a stronger person than I was before. From eating extra protein bars that my mom sent in the mail (she knew he liked them), to stealing (tactfully acquiring) peanut butter packets during chow, to climbing the reaper together hand in hand, he was always there to motivate me. Tyler’s family and loved ones, I am so sorry for your loss. Tyler, I hope you’re resting well and I can’t wait to see you again. Rest easy brother.

  2. We have lost not just a friend, but a brother in arms. Tyler Patrick Morris was one of the most genuine people I’ve ever known—always bringing smiles, lifting spirits, and reminding us what true friendship means. His kindness, laughter, and loyalty will never be forgotten. Rest easy, brother. We’ll carry you with us always.

  3. I met Tyler in bootcamp, from that first week on we hit it off, definitely got in trouble together during bootcamp because he was always making everyone laugh. Even through one of the hardest things we had done up to that point of our lives he was always happy and ready to crack a joke. We ended up in Okinawa together in the same unit and he was always the same way. Since we left the marines we had only spoke a few times. You will be missed brother.
