  7. I am a Bishop Du Bourg ‘74 alumni. I met Sue in high school. Even 50 years ago she was a kind and caring person.. I am blessed to have reconnected with her even for a short time. In this short time I was reminded of her unselfishness and her kindness. When another one of our classmates was in a life changing automobile accident with her daughter and granddaughter, Sue, even though she was fighting her own battle constructed a DB 74 Alumni group to rally around our classmate and formed a camaraderie of people who along with the guidance of Sue has raised money to help our classmate and had started several fundraising events that are yet to transpire. We all loved Sue and the selflessness and courage she portrayed will stay with us forever. My deepest condolences for Sue’s family and close friends. Heaven has gained an angel but we have lost one on Earth. Sue, thank you for showing our group what a true warrior you were and the impact you left in this world not only gave us hope that there is still good to be found but also that true kindness does exist. Rest in God’s arms, you deserve your place in Heaven.

  9. Hard to see this, it makes it real. I have known Sue for 60 years, I would say ” she is my sister’s other sister”. She fought this with courage and grace and I thought she would be THE ONE to beat this. God had other plans we will never understand. Randy, Chris and Melissa I hope you know that if anything I can do, just ask. Memories of Sue will always be happy ones. See you on the other side, Sue, but hopefully not too soon. Love you Sue

  11. Renee,
Sue was blessed beyond words having you for a friend! You 2 were like Thelma & Louise & Lucy & Ethel! You know the people that cannot say you were friends since 2nd grade, without even a lull in 60 years! You guys were to the point you knew what the other one was going to say before you said it! Your friendship, compassion, comforting words & love for one another does not go unnoticed! I wish I could take your pain away & tell you it’s all going to be okay! But that’s all in Gods hands now! The only thing you can do is when you lay your head on your pillow tonight, you can actually say “I will always miss you my dear friend, but I did everything I could! And that you did Reen! That you did! If there wasn’t so much love, it wouldn’t be this hard to say goodbye! My thoughts are with you dear friend!❤️

  17. I was so saddened to hear this news. Sue and I started at Lemay Bank about the same time, just a few months apart. We became friends and had a lot of good times together. Our kids were the same age and became friends. Time goes on and we lost touch with each other, but I will always remember our fun times and the laughs we had. God bless you Randy and family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
