He is also remembered by his sister-in-laws Debbie (Mark) and Marilyn (Kevin), nieces and a nephew, along with extended family and friends whose lives he touched with kindness, humor, and unwavering support.

He was superseded in death by his father, whose influence shaped the strength and character he carried throughout his life, as well as his deep love for football and woodworking.

Born on March 28, 1959, Mike lived with a generous spirit and a deep appreciation for connection. He believed in showing up for the people he loved. Whether it was a Scout meeting, a school project, a ball game, or a simple conversation at home, he made others feel supported, valued, and understood. His presence was steady, dependable, and filled with quiet warmth and strength.

A lifelong Alabama football fan, Mike cherished every season and every chance to cheer on the Crimson Tide. Saturdays in the fall were sacred filled with excitement, tradition, and the camaraderie that only true fans know. One of his most treasured memories was meeting the legendary Coach Bear Bryant, a moment he carried proudly for the rest of his life.

He poured that same passion into his children. He loved working with them on Scout projects, teaching them responsibility, confidence, and the joy of accomplishing something together. On the sidelines of their sports, he was their biggest supporter, cheering with pride and enthusiasm that lifted everyone around him.

Professionally, Mike built a career grounded in integrity and hard work. He spent 20 years with Wells Fargo, forming lasting friendships and earning the respect of colleagues. He later continued his career with Delta Dental, where he served with the same commitment and reliability. He retired from Delta Dental in September 2025, closing a chapter marked by decades of service and meaningful contributions.

Those who knew him will remember his humor, his strength, and his ability to make others feel at ease. He believed in doing things the right way, treating people with respect, and giving more than he took. His legacy lives on in the traditions he cherished, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely.

He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who were blessed to know him.
