Vivian M. Burlison (nee Richey) passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at the age of 91 and was born on August 5, 1934 in Galveston, Texas. Now reunited with her late husband of 40 years, William E. Burlison. Finally free from the chains of Alzheimer’s and dementia after an 11 year battle.
Much loved mother of Michelle (Burlison) Clemens, Bill (Joan Simpson) and Gary (Gina) Burlison. Special meemaw of Jennifer (Bryan) Long, U.S.N. CMDR Tim (Teresa) Clemens of Jacksonville, Fl., Josh (Emily) Burlison, Kyle Burlison, Kaitlin (Frank) Marsters, Trina (Eric Smith), Tori (Caleb Hill) and Jake (Holly) Burlison of Fort Myers, Fl. and Jack (Kenzie) Burlison; cherished great-grandmother of William, Alex and Shelby Clemens of Jacksonville, Fl., Avery, Elise and Jolene Burlison, Elliot, Henry and Liam Marsters and Stevie Burlison. Special sister of Marge Onergil, Jean Cavanaugh, Sally (Rick) Towner and Frank Richey. Our dearest aunt, great-aunt and friend to many.
Vivian was an avid bridge and bingo player, she loved listening to Neil Diamond and Garth Brooks and she was a fan of all things chocolate and cola.
Rest well “precious”, you have earned it.
