Thursday, July 19, 2018. Beloved dad of Monica (Andy) Dowling, Bill (Joyce) Asher, Kevin (Nancy) Lupo, Jennifer (Jason Yorty) Asher. Dear grandpa, beloved son of the late John E. Asher and the late Dolores and Robert Hudson, dearest brother of John Lynn (Carole) Asher, brother in law, uncle, nephew of Carol Cobb and Roseann (Luther) Holst, cousin and friend.  Loving husband of 33 years of Bonnie Barrett-Asher.

Proud Veteran of the United States Air Force. Bill was happily retired, devoted companion to Rose Hamann and enjoyed music, bringing the best sounds to St. Louis. His music legends were Bob Kuban, Shh Boom and Butch Wax & the Hollywoods. He had a larger than life personality and never met a stranger, helping everyone along the way.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Friday, July 27, 10 a.m. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 3-9 p.m.
