Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 25, 2018. Dan is survived by his loving family: including his parents, Glenn and Jawanna  Streibig; his son, Darren (Lisa) Streibig;  granddaughter, Aria Streibig; sister, Karen (Tom) Locke;  brother, David (Carol) Streibig; nephews, Derrick, Jeffrey and Aaron Streibig and Ryan Locke; his niece, Maslyn Locke; great- nieces and nephews,  cousins and friends.

Dan graduated from Logos High School in 1976 and  immediately entered the United States Marine Corps, where he served for four years. His service to our country remained one of his proudest accomplishments throughout his life. During this time, he married Peggy Fink and their son, Darren, was born. Dan earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Central  Missouri State University and also a Master’s Degree in  Business Administration from Lindenwood College. During his career, Dan worked for McDonnel Douglas Astronautics  Corporation as a logistics engineer/analyst. He also served as an Information systems manager for the Triax Corporation, which primarily  focused on Cable-TV industries. From  inception, channel distribution reached 84 countries and  provided market  promotional support and training through 25 international  distributors. Following this, Dan founded Streibig Development, Inc. During his work with SDI, Dan developed and sold patents in the color contact lens industry. He was a  creative  entrepreneur who enjoyed using his gifts to invent. Dan was an avid fisherman and craftsman who loved to spin a tale and say a family prayer at the holidays. He loved helping the less  fortunate and was very generous with  others. He has a great sense of humor, loved his family and he will be  greatly missed.
