In Loving Memory

Cordray, Monica M.

Cordray, Monica M., (nee Morie) passed away on November 23, 2019. Beloved daughter of John (Friend Sharon Poole) and the late late Ruby Morie; cherished mother of Jonathon (Nichole) and Benjamen (Sara) Cordray and 2 late infant twins; loving mawmaw of Jonathon Jr., Madison, Carter, Hunter, Maveryck, Finneghan, Ira Grace and Isreal; dear sister of the late Keith E. (Mary survives) Morie; our dear aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend.

A legacy of Love

Our mom, Monica has left a massive legacy behind to be carried on in the lives of those she has touched. Her legacy wasn’t possessions, money, or fame. Her legacy was LOVE. Our mom was sold out to making others feel loved, valued, and important. She was a natural born encourager who made sure that no matter where people were in life that they could be better and go higher. Our mom never met a stranger and in fact made strangers her friends within a very short time. She loved us and our wives, her eight grandkids, and her friends more than anything in this world. She made sure she left a legacy that truly matters. A legacy of love.

1 Corinthians 13:13 “So these three things continue: faith, hope, and love. And the greatest of these is love.” Love, Ben and Jon Cordray.

Services: Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Wednesday, November 27, 10:00 am. Service concludes at the funeral home. Memorials to deGreeff Hospice, appreciated. Visitation Tuesday, 4-8 pm
