  3. Ben was a wonderful and big hearted person. He was kind and deep and has a way of making me smile. Ben lived with us for a while when he went to engineering school. I was so proud of him. He had all As and he was a great student…so smart. He did his college work while working full time. And he went on a lifestyle change diet losing 150 pounds and afterwards he went to the Grand Ole Opry and gave me a picture of his new self taken there. He was happy and proud of what he achieved. He didn’t finish school because he wanted to go and be with his dad and brothers in Oklahoma. He was so excited about his first Thanksgiving visit to them. He asked me if it was okay to miss Thanksgiving to see his dad for the first time in a long time. I said it was okay but that we would miss him. He came back so happy to remake those connections of love and I was happy for him. I could tell he loved both sides of his family so much. Ben made a goals list when he lived with his Uncle Jerel and me and I am sure that Ben did everything he ever imagined before he took his leave. I know we will all see Ben again sometime. My faith tells me so. And I know that Ben is resting with Christ until the time of his resurrection. I want Nathan to know that Ben lived a beautiful life and loved you, Heather and Aaron so much and also loved his parents so much and his family in Oklahoma. I know because he told me so and he valued what he learned from every one of you. And I know he would tell you the following if he could: “Peace until we meet again. It would be a sin to grieve for me at the end because Heaven is so beautiful and I have some new old friends. God bless ya’ll. I’ll see you in a while and I will come in with a friend because I always like to be a twin. Love never ends”. ❤️

  5. Our family loved Ben so much he was an awesome nephew, cousin, son and friend his kind and loving ways made it impossible to not love him. Ben told us so many times how much he loved the times he spent with us in Swansea and then later in Millstadt but most of all in Florida. We lost contact with Ben when he was in TX and so happy to find him again on Facebook. That smile he had surely lit up the room and his laugh was so infectious it still makes us smile to think about it! He was always close to his cousin Nikki and her kiddos and we loved having him with us as often as he could come while he lived in Hollywood we lived across the state and visited as much as we could! His nieces and nephews loved with all their hearts and are devastated knowing he won’t be here for the holidays and every milestone he enjoyed sharing. One of my favorite photo memories of Ben is him in the Rocking chair in the NICU holding his niece MayMay (Maya) he didn’t mind all the tubes and wires and the extra precautions while he held her and the love showed abundantly . He just beamed with every moment spent with family. We are truly blessed to have had him in our lives even for such a short time. He was not one to judge and always seems to find the good in others. He loved family times spent around his Dads pool and Boys night BBQing and a few cold adult beverages and cigars. I believe he loved the holidays most and (we missed him carving up the meats) and fun with the kiddos. He always calls his cousin Nikki his FBFF (family BFF) and spoke about his aunt and uncle in St Louis and how much he loved time with them and how special they made him feel. I know he knew we loved him to the moon and back and past the stars, until we meet again on the other side may he always know he was loved!
