born April 1, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away Friday, June 23, 2023.  Beloved wife of the late Erwin A. Auer.  Dear daughter of the late Henry Albert and Virginia Biehl (nee: Nussbaum).  Dear sister of the late Albert Francis Biehl.  Dear mother of Erwin F. (Patricia), Daniel E. (Marlene), Robert W. (Patricia), and Stephen G. (Pamela) Auer, Mary E. (John) Steinmetz, Nancy J. (Daniel) Epple and Virginia B. “Ginny” (Craig) Malaschak.  Our dear grandmother and great grandmother.  Dear sister-in-law to Ernest F. Auer.  Best friend of the late Marilyn Rein.

Virginia M. Auer graduated from Notre Dame High School , Class of 1946.

SERVICES: Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Road on Thursday, June 29, 12:00 p.m.  Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to the charily of your choice appreciated.  Visitation Wednesday 4 – 8 p.m.

  2. Sending our heartfelt sympathy and deepest condolences for Great Aunt Ginny’s passing. We would occasionally run into her and Great Uncle Erwin at restaurants, grocery stores, and department stores when we lived in St. Louis. So many people have been touched by the love and kindness that she brought to others throughout her life. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your entire family.
