On Tuesday, August 28th, Alma Dorris Randolph Badalamenti left this earth, bound for her Heavenly home. She was surrounded by family at her home in Affton, Missouri.
Born in Sikeston, Missouri on March 20, 1927, Dorris was born minutes after her twin brother, Alan “Bud” Randolph.
In 1945, after graduating from Union High School, she moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where she found work with the war effort. After the war ended, she worked in the offices of Wohl Shoe Company and the Frisco railroad, as well as, played softball for their corporate teams.
On May 8th, 1954, she married Vincent A. Badalamenti at the Old Cathedral in downtown. They settled in St. Louis County.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Vincent A. Badalamenti; her parents, Alma and Arthur Randolph; and her brothers, George, “Bud” and Richard.
She is survived by her children: Lynn Ratkey(Gary), Gail Youngman (Grant), Gina Badalamenti, Chris Badalamenti (Anne), Tom Badalamenti and Lori McGraw (late husband, Adam); grandchildren: Megan Ratkey, Kyle Ratkey, Brett Hasenmueller, Connor Hasenmueller, Melina Pyatt (Jessie), Dominic Badalamenti, Chandler McGraw, Zachary Pasano, Tristin Pasano, and Rheanna McGraw.
She is also survived by her eldest brother, Earl Randolph of Union, Missouri.
Funeral at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois Rd., Wednesday, September 5th, 9:00 AM. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 4-8 PM.
