(nee Wood), fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Sunday, December 27, 2020. Beloved wife of Philip Bamberger; loving mother of Bevin (David) Packman, Bridgid (Rob) LaMear, Brianne (Tyler) Breed, Blaise (Bryan) Spiteri and the late Philip Jr. and Matthew Bamberger; dear grandmother of Diella, Cade, Brynn, Kyan, Lily, Grace, Rona, Jacob, Brayden and Layla; dear sister of Michaelene Koetting, Meredith Watt and Chip Wood; dear sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many. Marlo was on the board of many different charities; she was an avid golfer and her voice brought joy and comfort to everyone that heard her.
Services: Funeral at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Thursday, December 31, 9:30 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Mary Culver Home or Autism Speaks. Visitation Wednesday, 4-8 p.m.

  5. I really enjoyed visiting with Mrs. Bamberger at church and at the club. She was a wonderful person and she will be greatly missed by all.

  7. Phil and family so very sad to hear about Marlo. I remember first meeting her at the old Sunset kitty pool over 35 years ago, and she was delightful, genuine ,and easy to get to know. We’ll miss seeing all of you on Wednesdays at the Muny with family and friends. May God hold your dear family in “the palms of his hands”.
    Unfortunately, we are out of town for the celebration of Marlo’s life, but you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

  15. So sorry for your loss. I went to St.George and Notre Dame High School with Marlo. She was very smart and always eager to be involved with anything. Your family is in my prayers. You were blessed to have such a wonderful person in your life.
