  1. I work as an activities assistant at the nursing home where Dave lived. Dave was such a beautiful person every time I saw him on the hall he always greeted me with a great big smile and a wave. He loved listening to music and enjoyed eating ice cream every afternoon. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones. Rest in peace Dave Thank you for always smiling. You have made my experience at Garden view so rewarding.
    Sincerely,
    Tom Gaska Jr

  11. I work in activities at the nursing home Dave resided at. Dave was really something. Everybody loved him. He was always so happy. The biggest thing about Dave was his smile. That smile made everyone laugh and smile back. He was truly one of a kind. For a big guy, he was gentle and sweet. Dave enjoyed many activities including being outside, ice cream, BINGO, outings, church service, and live entertainment. There were many times when I would give him a thumbs up by rubbing my thumb against his and he’d respond by giving me a thumbs up and rubbing his thumb against mine. He is going to be missed very much. Things won’t be the same without him and his trademark smile. He is in a better place with Kathleen. My deepest condolences to Loretta and the rest of Dave’s family. May Dave’s memory be a blessing. May he rest in peace. So long Dave. It was a joy to know you. I’ll miss you. Love you buddy.
