Beloved wife of the late Alfred A. Barni; loving daughter of the late Antonio and Lena Berra. Our dearest aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt and friend to many.
Visitation at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (5800 Oleatha 63139) on Friday, May 16 from 9:15 am. until Funeral Mass time at 10:00 am. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital appreciated.
I will miss hearing the Cardinals update from you. Also the book list to read. I hate to see my lunch buddy go.
Our condolences to the Barni family.
Ron and Jean Puricelli
My beautiful Italian aunt. Loved and will be sorely missed. You and uncle Al were part of our family as we were yours.
I will always remember you and my mother coming up out of the basement after putting together ravioli on the big table.. That smile and beautiful curly hair.
Our family connection to the Barni family began with our Dad Galen and Al who served together in the US Army. That began a lifelong friendship between St. Louis and Topeka, KS.
On one of their trips to Topeka, she taught me how to play solitaire. I heard from Josie two – three times a year and she was always interested in what our kids and grandkids were doing. I will always treasure her letters.
With deepest sympathy from your former neighbors, the Langhorsts (5610 Fyler). We were all part of the originals and, hence, friends for many, many years — 68 to be exact.
I will miss writing to you. Glad I got to visit you at Christmas. You were one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Happy that you and Babe are together again in heaven.
