Cheryl Anne Bauer, Born February 7, 1948 went home to be with her lost loved ones on May 13, 2019

Loving wife to John Bauer, beloved mother and hero to her children Eugene “Gene” Mesplay, Michael (Lisa) Mesplay, Brian “Bo” (Lauren Daugherty) Mesplay, and Holly (Christopher) Kennedy.  Caring and doting “Mamaw” to Nicole Mesplay, Blayne (Alex) Mesplay, Michael Mesplay, Alyssa Kennedy, the late Anthony “Tony” Williams, Cody Kennedy, Brayden Williams, and Gabriella Kennedy.  Great Grandmother to Connor Wilson.  Incredible sister to Keith (Pearl) Dotson and Deborah Dotson. Aunt Boo to her nieces and nephews Michelle (Brian) Schnarre, Colton, Hudson and Sadie Schnarre.  Aunt Pickle to Jennifer (Ronnie) Kyser, Jessica Dotson, Brett Beaudoin, Isabella, Lilly Anna, and Tyler Kyser.  “Her Majesty” to her sweet friend Max, and her Chicago family.  Loved by so many as the “Dance Grandma to her DPU dance kiddos,  Cheryl was loved by so many and adored by more.  Cheryl is proceeded in her death by her parents Jerrell “Earl” and Anna Dotson, and her grandson Anthony “Tony” Williams, where they are together forever.

Those who knew Cheryl, knew of her very giving and generous heart and her love of Christmas, so in lieu of flowers, the family asks that at Christmas time to please adopt at least one family in her honor, title the card “Cheryl’s Christmas Angels”.

Services; Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Thursday, May 16th 9:30AM for a 10AM mass at Immaculate Conception Church (Arnold, MO) with lunch immediately following mass. Entombment at Mt. Hope Cemetery at 12:30PM. Visitation at Kutis Wednesday 4-8PM
