Wife for 52 years of Robert Beck; mother of Joseph (Tina), Jennifer (Marc) Pekny, Emily, Toby (Melissa), Molly (Corey) McFarland, Mandy and James; grandmother of Grace, Angela, Andrew, Joseph, Lorelei, Maria, Genevieve, Raymond, Gus, Rosalind, Mia, Vincent, Henry, Juliana and Zelie. Suzie was the daughter of the late Frank and Hulda Weber and the surviving sister of Frank Weber, Jean Klein, Audrey Reilly, Carl Weber, Jim Weber and Margie Jones; a dear aunt, cousin, sister-in-law and friend.
Graduating from St. Anthony’s High School, she held a B.A. degree in education and technical theatre from Fontbonne College. She taught kindergarten, designed the lighting for dozens of theatre productions, and sewed countless items, including curtains, clothing, costumes and quillows. Suzie collected angel figurines and miniature lighthouses.

In several shows I did with Encore Theater Productions, Suzie “lit us up” with her technical wizardry. More importantly, she also would light us up figuratively with her grin and her warm friendship. RIP Suzie. All pain and sadness is wiped away.

Was just telling my wife about Suzie and Bob, well and Jim Weber too… Did a quick search and to my great dismay found that Suzie had passed.I am SO sorry to hear this news, she was a sweet, kind person and thoroughly decent human being. Please accept my sympathy.
