Donald J. Betz, Sr. age 92, Thursday, November 13, 2025. Loving husband of the late Carole J. Betz (nee: Strothkamp); beloved father of Vicki (Richard Waters) Betz and Joe Betz; cherished grandfather of Mason, Violet, Dahlin and Nate; dear twin brother of the late Ronald (Shirley) Betz, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.
He proudly served his country in the United States Marines Corps. Retired foreman from Granite City Steel after 36 years.
Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road Friday, November 21, 5-8pm. Funeral Mass at Holy Family Parish Auditorium 2300 Church Road Arnold, MO 63010 Saturday 10am. Burial Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to American Parkinson Disease Association, appreciated.

I worked with Don for more than 30 years
off and on. Don was always focused on
the job at hand, big or small.. Don was a true
gentleman and treated everyone with respect and
he was a force of honesty.
I was fortunate enough to join him in his later years
skiing ..WinterPark was his favorite spot. Don was an athlete
and I knew that, so it showed when he took to the slopes.
Nothing but fond memories I’ll always cherish.
