Born February 14, 1942 passed away peacefully at this home on Wednesday, December 26, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Arlus Blackwell (nee Wagner); five children, Jeff (April) Blackwell, Karen Meister, Maria Steward, Craig (Tricia) Cwiklowski and Tara (Greg) Dortch; twelve grandchildren, Jeffrey Blackwell, Kristen Daniel, Brittany Pfeffer, Ashley Youngblood, Lauren Earls, Lindsay Napier, Leah Carvalho, Christian, Conner and Cole Westermayer, Daria and Julia Cwiklowski; 14 great-grandchildren and beloved brother Horace (Birtie) Blackwell; special cousins, Benny (Mel) and Lindel (Gleda) Blackwell; preceded in death by brothers Rallis, L.A., Aubrey and Elbert and sisters, Marie, Margaret, Bea, and Willa; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

SERVICES:  Funeral at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road Monday, December 31 at 10am. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or American Cancer Society appreciated. Visitation Sunday 3-8pm.
