Dr. John M. Blalock, DC, (Dr. B.) was born on January 10, 1944, and entered into rest on October 15, 2023, at the age of 79.
Dr. B was a devoted husband of 54 years to John R. Miller. They had a partnership solid in friendship, adventure and love. He also had a family by love, Debbie Rohrich-Tyler and Farrell Tyler, Kathy (late Pete) Rohrich, Peter (Jamie) Rohrich and Austin & Jacob Rohrich
Dr. B was a longtime resident of St. Louis Hills where he proudly opened his chiropractic business, Blalock Chiropractic Centre, after graduating from Logan University, formerly Logan College of Chiropractic. His commitment to serving his patients and making their lives better created lifelong friendships.
Dr. B. proudly served his country in the United States Army where he met his lifelong friend, Vincent Guerra. Serving his country was very important to him.
Dr. B. and John were lifelong caregivers to many people they met along the way, and gave special care to nephew Michael Miller.
While he was a quiet person in general, Dr. B enjoyed a good joke, being around his oversized group of friends and his absolute love of food, especially sweets. To see the smile on his face when sweets were around was to witness something special.
Dr. B’s extended family including many longtime friends who, along with John, spent time traveling, hosting annual Wine & Cheese Parties, and festive holiday celebrations. Dr. B. always lit up when kids were around, and they were a constant source of joy for him.
Dr. B will be missed by so many and this world will not be the same without him.

I was so sad to hear the news of Dr. B. He was so well known and respected, especially in the health care community. I know that Dr B and John helped a number of people and both had a very calm and healing way about them. It seemed as if your patients were like family members. He was truly loved and will be missed.
Dear John,
I just learned of Dr. Blalock’s passing today and am so sorry for your loss. God is our comfort and strength.
The last time I was in St. Louis was from February of ’23 through June, caring for my brother who was in Hospice. That was a very busy time and now I so wish I had taken time to drop by for a treatment. I surely needed one! But I wouldn’t trade one moment we had together. I stayed with him 24/7 – hours filled with precious memories of him and family and friends.
Roy also passed and I returned to Arkansas where I am enjoying my family members and new friends. Still have not located a chiro. like Dr. B.! or a happy therapist like John!
Appreciated your care so much for all these & great staff
Sincerely
Rick Brine
