Boyette, Jackie

In Loving Memory

Boyette, Jack E.

September 8, 1936 - August 26, 2025

Jack E Boyette, asleep in Jesus on August 26, 2025.

He was born in St. Louis, MO to Cecil and Freida “Donna” (Batts) Boyette, on September 8, 1936. He enlisted in the US Navy after High School, on September 17, 1954. Jack was a Radioman on the USS Wisconsin and was part of the crew for the decommission of the ship. He served active duty until September 15,1958 and then spent time in the Navy Reserves. Jack was proud of his time in the Navy and would pull out pictures to show of the USS Wisconsin every chance he got.

After the Navy he joined the St Louis City Police Department. After 13 years as a police officer, he left the force and took a job offer from Dave Sinclair to work in the Service department at the Ford dealership on South Lindbergh, and spent the next 25 years there, until he retired.

He was a member and very involved at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church when he was younger and served as Chief Usher for many years. He later became a member at Webster Gardens Lutheran church where he joined the Usher team once again. He enjoyed his time at Webster Gardens very much and enjoyed the teachings and friendship of Pastor Joel Christiansen.

He and his wife, Rose, spent time traveling and had many adventures together. They also owned a condo in Branson, MO, for a while, and a lot of time was spent hosting family and friends, enjoying the quaintness of Branson and its many shows.

He enjoyed cars, music (almost any group that harmonized was his favorite, and bonus if it was Gospel) and dancing. Many remember his smile and laughter. He loved to joke around with people and kept everyone on their toes. Many compared his appearance to President George Busch and some referred to him as “Prez”

Dear husband of 21 years to Rose Marie Boyette, dear father to Doug Boyette, Stacy (Scott) DeClue. Dear Step Father-In-Law to Jill (John) Colombo.  Dear grandfather to Dustin (Melissa) Kuhl, Chase, Caleb and Elijah DeClue, and Nathan Boyette. Dear step grandfather to Will and Hunter Colombo.  Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dear friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Donna Boyette, his sister and Brother-in-Law, Barbara (Wayne) Woodard, his daughter, Renee Revelle and his stepson, Ron Dry.
